Driven by the belief that meaningful hospitality extends beyond its walls, BCCK contributed essential bedsheets to enhance the comfort and well-being of the home’s elderly residents. In addition, the Centre’s culinary team thoughtfully prepared bubur lambuk, a cherished traditional Ramadhan dish, which was distributed to residents in time for breaking of fast.

Chief Operating Officer of BCCK, Mr. Rayner Simon shared that the visit was not merely about material contributions, but about human connection.

“Ramadhan reminds us to pause and reflect on our blessings, and more importantly, to share them. Our visit to Rumah Sri Kenangan is a small gesture of appreciation and care for the elderly residents who have contributed so much to society throughout their lives. We hope that through this contribution, we are able to provide comfort, joy and a sense of companionship,” said the COO.

Executive Chef, Chef Tawfeeq Seow, shared that the preparation of bubur lambuk for the residents held special significance for the culinary team.

“Ramadhan is a season where food carries meaning beyond nourishment as it represents care, sharing and togetherness. Our team prepared the bubur lambuk with sincerity and attention, hoping it would bring warmth and comfort to the residents of Rumah Sri Kenangan during breaking of fast,” said Chef Tawfeeq Seow.

Through initiatives such as this, BCCK reaffirms its dedication to being more than a world-class convention centre. It remains committed to playing an active role in supporting and uplifting the community it proudly calls home.

As Ramadhan continues, BCCK hopes that this small act of kindness inspires others to embrace the values of generosity, compassion and unity, ensuring that no one is forgotten during this sacred month.
