Appreciation to Clients, Partners and the Wider Industry
BCCK extends its sincere thanks to all clients who entrusted BCCK with their events in 2025. Every successful event is built on shared effort from early planning to show days and BCCK truly values the confidence and long-term partnerships that made this year possible.
BCCK also records its appreciation to key stakeholders and industry partners, including Business Events Sarawak (BE Sarawak), Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), and the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry & Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP). Their support and continued collaboration remain vital in advancing Sarawak’s business events sector and strengthening Malaysia’s profile as a credible host destination.
BCCK further thanks the wider business events community, including associations, professional conference organisers (PCOs), suppliers, venue partners, and industry peers across Sarawak and Malaysia, whose collaboration helps strengthen delivery standards and enhances the overall delegate experience.
2025 Highlights at a Glance
Across 2025, BCCK hosted a diverse mix of international and domestic events from scientific congresses and policy forums to exhibitions, community programmes, and cultural showcases.

Juh Sungkei di BCCK – A Growing Ramadhan Favourite
BCCK also recorded a strong turnout for Juh Sungkei di BCCK, welcoming over 53,000 diners in 2025. This reflects both the team’s operational consistency and the community’s continued support for BCCK as a trusted Ramadhan dining venue.
Supporting the Business Events Economy
Collectively, BCCK estimates RM57 million in economic impact for Sarawak, 26% higher than 2024, reflecting the Centre’s ongoing role in supporting visitor spend, local suppliers, and job opportunities connected to the business events value chain.
Beyond the numbers, each international event hosted in Kuching also creates a platform for Sarawak and Malaysia to be seen, experienced, and remembered by decision makers, industry leaders, and professionals from around the world.
As Malaysia strengthens its position as a regional hub for meetings and conventions, Kuching plays a growing role in hosting international and national gatherings that generate real spillover for the wider economy from hotels and transport to local SMEs and the creative sector.
BCCK welcomes collaborations with associations, government agencies and corporates to anchor more high value events in Kuching, generating benefits that flow to local vendors, the hospitality sector and the wider visitor economy, while creating longer term legacy through knowledge exchange, talent development and community impact.
Looking Ahead to 2026
BCCK enters 2026 with a confirmed pipeline of international and regional events that will strengthen Kuching’s position in the regional calendar and support continued spillover benefits for Sarawak and Malaysia.
Confirmed highlights include Asia Pacific Aerospace Conference & Exhibition (APACE) 2026, 3rd International Traditional Natural Medicine Physicians Conference, 2nd International Congress of Advanced MIS, Robotic & Ablation Society of Gynaecologists Malaysia (AMRAS) 2026, 2nd Asia Pacific Green Hydrogen Conference & Exhibition (APGH) 2026, 10th Chinese Congress on World Evangelism, World Polymer Congress (IUPAC MACRO 2026), and Asian Conference on Occupational Health (ACOH) 2026, among others.
“2025 was built on teamwork, from clients and partners, to the people behind the scenes. BCCK is grateful for the trust placed in the Centre, and remains focused on delivering an even stronger 2026 for Kuching, Sarawak and Malaysia,” said Mr Rayner Simon, Chief Operating Officer of BCCK.
Gearing Up for the Next Chapter - BCCK2
As the pipeline for larger events continues to grow, BCCK is preparing for the next phase of capacity and capability expansion through BCCK2, targeted for completion by 2027. BCCK2 strengthens Sarawak’s readiness to host larger international gatherings so more major business events can happen in Kuching, with more opportunities for Sarawakians to learn, connect and do business closer to home, and to build longer term legacy through knowledge transfer, talent development and stronger local industry capability.
As BCCK moves into the new year, the Centre remains committed to reliable delivery, continuous improvement and strong industry collaboration supporting Kuching’s growth as a globally connected business events destination and contributing to Malaysia’s long-term competitiveness in the business events arena.
