As part of its Ramadan corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, the BCCK team personally delivered iftar meals, ensuring the children had a hearty and fulfilling break-fast. Along with this, a thoughtful contribution was made to support the home’s ongoing needs, reflecting BCCK’s commitment to giving back to the community.
Mr. Rayner Simon, Chief Operating Officer of BCCK, shared his thoughts on the initiative:
“Ramadan is a time for reflection, kindness, and giving. At BCCK, we believe in looking out for our local community and it is truly heartwarming to be able to share a simple yet meaningful gesture with the children at Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah. We hope this small effort brings them joy and reminds them that they are cared for.”
“It is not about how much we give, but the sincerity behind it. We hope that by coming together and reaching out to those around us, we can encourage a culture of generosity and compassion, especially during this sacred time.”
This initiative is part of BCCK’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, where the organisation continuously seeks ways to support and uplift the local community. Looking ahead, BCCK remains open to collaborations that align with its vision of fostering a culture of kindness and shared responsibility.
“Moving forward, we welcome opportunities to collaborate with like-minded organisations who share our vision of giving back to the community. Through partnerships, we believe we can extend our reach and create a greater impact, ensuring more people benefit from meaningful initiatives like this,” Rayner added.
As Ramadan continues, BCCK remains dedicated to extending kindness and support, encouraging others to embrace the spirit of giving in their own ways. The organisation believes that even the smallest gestures, when shared with sincerity, can leave a lasting impact.
