The Raintree Restaurant Unveils Extravagant Christmas and New Year's Eve Menus to Ring in the Festive Season

KUCHING, (25 November 2023) – As the holiday season approaches, The Raintree Restaurant is thrilled to announce the launch of its exquisite Christmas and New Year's Eve menus, promising an unparalleled dining experience to welcome the joyous celebrations.

This festive season, our culinary experts have meticulously crafted two distinct menus, each designed to elevate your dining experience and create unforgettable moments with loved ones. Immerse yourself in the spirit of Christmas with a delectable array of dishes that showcase the finest seasonal ingredients. From traditional favourites to modern twists, our Christmas menu is a celebration of flavor and tradition.

BCCK is delighted to introduce a three-course Christmas Menu that is available from 1st to 30th December this year (excluding 24th, 25th and 31st December), offering Smoked Duck Pate and Spinach Salad as the appetizer, main courses offered is Chicken Ballotine or Pan Seared Seabass Fish, along with mouth-watering dessert, Sticky Toffee Pudding with Salted Caramel Sauce and Peanut Butter Ice Cream. Price for the Christmas Set Menu is RM65nett.

Our Merry Dinner Buffet will be on the 24th December and Holiday Brunch Buffet will be on the 25th December is priced at RM100nett per adult and RM55nett per child if you purchase online at whereas walk-ins are RM120nett per adult and RM55nett. From delectable starters that tease the palate to succulent main courses that embody the spirit of the season, our buffet spread is a gastronomic journey through the magic of the holidays.

Begin your feast with an array of indulgent appetisers that set the tone for a memorable dining experience such as Chilled Shredded Chilli Potato, Yam Pra-muek (Spicy Squid Salad) and Coconut Floss Paku Salad.  

The main course features a range of hearty dishes, blending traditional Christmas flavours with innovative twists. Main courses offered such as Jamaican Pumpkin Chestnut Rice, Caribbean Jerk Chicken, Brussel Sprouts Garlic Butter and Garlic Butter and Thyme Roasted Potato.

Featured delectables on our interactive stations is the famous Laksa Sarawak and Cendol Gula Apong from the Malaysian Stall, Pickle Mustard Beef Noodle and Marinated Lotus Root from the China Stall, and nothing says Christmas like a whole Roasted Turkey from the Carving Station.

Conclude your Christmas feast on a sweet note with our decadent dessert spread. Indulge in a variety of festive sweets, from classic Yule log cake, Christmas Cinnamon Pie, Warm Sticky Toffee Pudding to Christmas Stollen, our dessert selection is a sweet symphony that adds the perfect finishing touch to your celebration.

Diners also can choose to usher in the new year at The Raintree Restaurant with our Celebration Buffet this 31st December, priced at only RM100nett per adult through online bookings and RM120nett for walk-ins, and children ages from 5 to 12 years old at RM55nett for both online and walk-in.

For those who would like a hassle-free celebration, our Christmas desserts and Christmas Roast are available for takeaway –a whole roasted turkey is available at RM488nett and Beef Wellington with Yorkshire Pudding and Rosemary Jus is available at RM388. Christmas desserts orders are available for takeaway, from our Christmas Stollen at RM38nett, Christmas Pudding at RM38nett. All Christmas goodies and Christmas Roast requires two days of advance booking.
