BCCK PRESENTS CHRISTMAS SEASON OFFERINGS

The Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) gets into the festive mood with their Christmas season offerings at The Raintree Restaurant.
The Raintree Restaurant is promising festive feast of appetisers, mains, meats and desserts for the Festive Christmas Lunch, Christmas Eve Dinner, Christmas Night Set Dinner and Christmas Roast from as low as RM69 nett. Guests can also takeaway a whole roasted turkey, to accompany their year-end festivities at home.
The Festive Christmas Lunch is a three-course set lunch from 1st to 30th December, featuring a hearty cream of wild mushroom and walnuts as a starter, with a choice between Raintree Restaurant speciality main courses. Online bookings are RM69 nett per person, and walk-ins are RM75 nett.
The main course options are Roasted Ballotine Chicken served with sundried tomato & pumpkin, Brussels sprouts and Soubise Sauce, the Grilled Sirloin Steak accompanied with sundried tomato and pumpkin, potato confit, broccoli & caramelised onions, as well as the Honey Glazed Salmon with Spinach, pumpkin, Brussels sprouts, capsicum salsa with Hollandaise Sauce.
The main course is followed by a delicious dessert of Saxon Geol Christmas bread pudding Brulee with warm cranberry vanilla sauce.
The Christmas Eve Dinner offers four course meal on the 24th of December, with online bookings priced at RM120 nett for adults and RM60 nett for children, as well as walk-ins priced at RM140 nett for adults and RM60 nett for children.
The dinner begins with an appetiser of House Made Salmon Gravlax, Blinis, Beetroot Achars, Chuka Wakame, Parmesan Sable, Ponzu Dressing and Ebiko, followed by a starter of Cream of Bako Tom Yam Velout, Crispy Prawn Wantan with Bread Rolls and Butter.
The main course is the Land and Sea Platter featuring Double Chops Sous Vide Lamb Rack, Turkey Roulade, Mexican Grilled Seabass and roasted vegetables, potato gratin, Sarawak Pineapple salsa with Sarawak Black Pepper Sauce & Cranberry Butter Sauce. The meal is topped off with a dessert of Homemade Yule Pudding with Cinnamon Vanilla Creme.
The Christmas Night Set Dinner will be a four-course meal, taking place on the 25th December with online bookings and walk-ins are set at RM188 nett per couple.
The meal starts with a starter of Warm Smoked Duck Salad with Orange Segments & Walnut-Apple Salad and Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup.
The Main Courses include Pilaf Rice, Italian Spaghetti Bolognese, Blackened Spice-Rubbed Turkey Skewer, Baja Mexican Prawn Skewer, Breaded Fish, Wok Fried Mongolian Beef, Assorted Vegetables with Peas accompanied with Chilli Salsa, Tartare Dip and Raintree BBQ Sauce, followed by a dessert Yule Sticky Toffee Pudding, Gula Apong Caramel & Ice Cream.
The Christmas Roast is served on Christmas Day from 11:30am to 2:30pm and requires two days advanced booking. Its generous portion serves 6 to 8 people, with seasonal favourites such as Roasted Lamb Leg or Roasted Topside Beef for RM250 nett, Whole Roasted Duck for RM55 nett and Whole Roasted Chicken for RM45 nett.
