BCCK SHARES RAMADHAN JOY WITH THE CHILDREN OF RUMAH KANAK-KANAK BATU 12

KUCHING, April 11, 2023 – The holy month of Ramadhan is normally a time of reflection, contemplation and gratitude for our blessings we have received throughout the year. The Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) continues the spirit of Ramadhan and gratitude this year with our focus on community and giving back with the children from Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah.

“It has been BCCK’s corporate culture to give back to the community and been looking forward to CSR projects as an annual activity us here at BCCK. These causes are close to the heart of BCCK’s board of directors, senior management and staff. It is about spending quality time with the children and bringing smiles to their faces”, said Mr. Eric van Piggelen, the Chief Executive Officer of BCCK.

“We hope our humble contributions will serve them well throughout the year, and we wish them the best in their studies and the pursuit of their dreams,” he further added.

Meanwhile, BCCK CEO Eric van Piggelen said BCCK has been privileged to be given this opportunity to have this yearly programme.

Specially prepared BCCK Ramadhan goodies for the breaking of fast and cash vouchers each for their use during the 2023 academic year were distributed to the children of Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah.

Head of Security, Mr. Mas Rabaie, Executive Chef, Mr Tawfeeq Seow, Director of Sales and Marketing, Ms. Premala Danapakiam, Director of Human Resource, Mr. Ahmad Rizal Yaman, Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Joseph Chung and Assistant GM Business Development, Mr. Eric Chuo personally delivered the goodies and cash voucher to the expecting children.

BCCK has long standing relationships with various charitable bodies and reaching out to the less fortunate on special occasions and ordinary days is part and parcel of their commitment to their CSR initiative.

 

BCCK is certified halal by Sarawak Islamic Affairs Department (JAIS) and has certification in ISO 22000:2005 Food Management Systems, Malaysian Standard 1480:2007 Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) System.
