KUCHING. 20 March 2018 The ever savouring “Juh Sungkei di BCCK” (Let’s Break Fast at BCCK) is back, this 18 May 2018. The exclusive menu options have been carefully crafted this year to offer guests the chance to enjoy our all-time-favourite traditional and international fare served in the truly kampung-style themed venue.

“Enjoy one of the best Ramadhan experience in Kuching this coming 18 May – 12 June” said Eric van Piggelen, BCCK Chief Executive Officer. “This Ramadhan buffet will be priced from as low as RM45 nett per person for online booking. Based on diner’s choice of dining halls, the walk-in prices are capped at RM98 nett per person for the Great Hall and RM78 nett per person for the Meeting Rooms 12 – 14. It doesn’t matter which dining hall you are in, you would still enjoy the wide spread of mouth-watering buffet without any restrictions. Good food taste better when it is shared, so bring along your family and friends.” explains van Piggelen.

“We offer “Juh Sungkei di BCCK” truly irresistible for everyone from all walks of life. In value , it simply translates into ‘now everyone can buka puasa’. We have also crafted some fine corporate deals for businesses – corporate vouchers with open date at RM82 nett per person, and fixed dates from as low as RM78 nett per person depending on the number of tickets purchased and the Ramadhan week booked. All prices are inclusive of the six percent Government Service Tax. What you see is what you pay. Reward your tummy with our signature dishes such as the whole roasted lamb (with a choice of black pepper sauce or mint jelly), homemade salmon gravlax (cured salmon), poached prawns and mussels. Our popular Malaysian dishes - the bubur lambuk daging, fried kway tiaw, bubur pedas, and warm your tummy with a bowl or two of sup tulang and Chinese chicken herbs soup.

For a taste of international cuisine, look out for paella rice with assorted seafood at the Spanish corner and topped up with Mongolian BBQ with shredded vegetable for a palatable dish. If you are on low-calorie diet, head over to Italian corner for the highly digestible low-fat pasta – prawn aglio olio. To complete the meal in style, diners can head to our dessert corner for luscious mini eclairs, marshmallow dipped in a chocolate fountain, mixed fruit strudels, apam-balik, ice kacang and assortment of nyonya kuih. According to our Executive Sous Chef, Binyas Suem: “From starter to main to dessert, guests will find a total of 153 food items to indulge in. Two menus will be rotated during the month-long Ramadan period which gives diners access to a multitude of treats.”

In addition to its great food and theme, the Centre will also offer Muslim guests a designated prayer room, prayer mats, sandals, and an Imam for Tarawih prayers, allowing diners to comfortably perform their religious obligations.

Guests can look forward to our instagrammable “kampung” themed venue by capturing the moments with friends and families during the season. The kampung-styed bazaar is open for all to roam.
