CELEBRATE MOTHER’S DAY WITH AN EXTRAVAGANT DINNER

Kuching: Mother’s Day is the day to reward and celebrate a mother’s unconditional love and care. The Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, Raintree Restaurant executive chef Desmond Davies and his culinary team has come up with specially curated three-course gourmet meal for your mum and you to indulge in an extravagant dinner.
The three-course menu begins with the Amuse Bouche, followed by appetizer with a choice of salad or soup. Tempt your taste buds with Nicoise salad with seared tuna, anchovy fillet, quail egg finished with a lime dressing or warm up your tummy with a bowl of Asian Oxtail soup to prepare for the hot main course to come.
The main course featuring The Raintree Signature dishes. Among some of it is the melt-in-mouth tender juicy Mechoui Rack of Lamb served with potato gratin, minted long bean puree, lamb neck pie androsemary jus. Grilled Seabass Fillets blends nicely with beurre blanc sauce, served with roasted pumpkin and cauliflower puree. For mothers who love steak, off the coals Rump Steak is definitely being your right choice. Rump Steak comes with a choice of black pepper, wild mushroom, sauce béarnaise or Raintree trio of BBQ sauces. The meat is tender and flavorful enough to stand on its own without the flavor of the sauces. The dish also comes with a side of seasonal vegetables of the day, a choice of thick cut French fries or loaded mash potato with caramelized onions, cheese and crispy macon.
Diners can complete their meal with a choice of rice pudding, fresh fruit platter or The Raintree’s ice cream. Dessert lovers will love the rice pudding with minted mango presented in a chocolate casing topped with warm palm sugar sauce. Each bite is so light and refreshing, definitely makes you crave for more.
The Mother’s Day set menu priced at RM85 nett per person inclusive of a special gift for each mum. Dinner will be served from 6.30pm – 11pm on 13th May 2018.
